We’re pleased to report another great month of impact in October 2026. Thanks to all of the new sign ups this month. See this months impact below:
– We were due to sponsor the purchase of 320 square feet of land based on customer purchases but we did not just sponsor that amount this month, we sponsored nearly 5 times the amount at 1500 sqft. This was possible by supporting Tir Nature with their incredibly ambitious nature restoration project in Wales.
– Planted 150 trees with Ripple Africa.
The more people that use our website hosting, the more we can do to turn the tide of biodiversity loss.
Read more about each of these projects and organisations below:
Ripple Africa: is a UK charity working with local communities in Malawi to restore forests and protect the natural environment. They run community tree nurseries where villagers grow and plant millions of trees each year, helping to reverse deforestation and restore degraded landscapes. Alongside planting new trees, Ripple Africa also protects existing forests through their ‘Forest Conservation’ initiative, meaning every tree planted also helps safeguard mature trees. This community-led approach creates lasting benefits for wildlife, local ecosystems, and the people who care for them.
Tir Nature: We’re proud to support Tir Natur’s purchase of 1,195 acres at Cwm Doethïe, in the Cambrian Mountains of mid-Wales, helping secure an extraordinary landscape for nature’s recovery. The land encompasses ancient woodland, rivers and tributaries, heathland and 160 acres of degraded peatland, providing an opportunity to restore a rich mosaic of habitats across a large, connected and largely uninterrupted landscape. Tir Natur plans to let natural processes lead the recovery, supported by carefully managed grazing from cattle and ponies, alongside targeted interventions such as rewetting peatlands and restoring river corridors. Over the coming years, this work will help heathland, wetlands, woodland and Celtic rainforest recover and expand, creating more space for wildlife including water voles, otters, woodland birds, insects and many other species. We’re delighted that our donation can play a small part in helping Tir Natur protect this land and give nature the space it needs to thrive.
